To provide programming and mentoring for junior and mid-career faculty that centers on wellness and focuses on skill building to increase rigorous research productivity and secure NIH funding.


Holistic Wellness
Providing a variety of programming with a
holistic approach that centers on wellness as the core basis with which junior and mid-career faculty can achieve and maintain success in biomedical research at institutions of higher education across the country that are designated as having very high (R1) or high (R2) research activity.
Career and Professional Development
Offering workshops covering a variety of relevant topics, including but not limited to, scientific rigor, responsible conduct of research, and targeted training in grant writing to increase NIH grant submissions by junior to mid-career faculty


Invested Mentoring
Providing an individual network of successful and NIH-funded senior faculty mentors to enhance social and tangible support for ACCESS Mentees.
Responsible Conduct of Research
Supporting mentees with NIH standards of ethical research through RCR training modules and certification.


Scientific Rigor Training
Ensuring that mentees are well versed and trained in conducting rigorous studies and maintaining strong laboratory environments, that will support publication and grant funding success.
