Benefits of Becoming a Mentee

  • ​A two-year long mentorship with an established senior biomedical faculty member

  • Career and professional development support 

  • Access to a national community of biomedical researchers across disciplines.

  • A $1,000 annual stipend toward research and/or professional development activities 

  • Paid travel for in-person ACCESS related meetings. 

Eligibility Criterion 

  • U.S. Citizen or permanent resident

  • Doctoral Degree

  • Early-or mid-career biomedical faculty who have not yet achieved multiyear funding as a PI

  • Focus on advancing biomedical research

  • Home institution with R1 or R2 classification

  • Commitment to attend all in-person and virtual sessions throughout the duration of the two-year program
