Benefits of Becoming a Mentee

  • ​A two-year long mentorship with an established Senior faculty member

  • A $1,000 annual stipend toward research and/or professional development activities 

  • Paid travel for in-person ACCESS related meetings. 

Eligibility Criterion 

  • U.S. Citizen or permanent resident

  • Doctoral Degree

  • Early-and mid-career faculty who have not yet achieved multiyear R level funding as a PI

  • Focus on advancing biomedical research

  • PWI home institution with R1 or R2 classification

  • Commitment to attend all in-person and virtual sessions throughout the duration of the two-year program
