Faculty ACCESS Cohort I Alumna, Dr. Stefani Thomas is the recipient of an R21 grant from the NCI: "Preclinical development and validation of targeted mass spectrometry assays for serous ovarian cancer diagnosis." The goal of the 2-year project is to develop a novel mass spectrometry-based assay to measure a panel of proteins in serum to serve as diagnostic biomarkers for serous epithelial ovarian tumors, which are the most common subtype of ovarian cancer.

Congratulations, Dr. Thomas!
